CELLINK GelMA is compatible with most mammalian cells and can be used as a base material for a wide range of tissues. This bioink is designed to print with a temperature-controlled printhead and a cooled printbed. GelMA must be directly cooled after printing to maintain its shape before crosslinking. GelMA is very sensitive to the thermal environment during printing and the recommended printing temperature is 26 degrees Celsius. CELLINK gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) is a gelatin-based bioink that provides mammalian cells with the essential properties of their native environment. GelMA is modified with methacryloyl groups to crosslink with a photoinitiator (like LAP) or exposure to UV light (available using INKREDIBLE+, BIO X, and a 365 nm or 405 nm photocuring system). Available with a 0.25 percent LAP photoinitiator. Available as lyophilized powder in our GelMA Kit for tailoring your own bioink formulation Recommended for use with BIO X, a temperature-controlled printhead and a cooled printbed, or INKREDIBLE+ with a heated printhead.
